Sir Ratan Tata's inspirational story
the year was 1999. mr ratan tata was on his way back from a really important meeting in detroit throughout his journey he felt sad and humiliated he felt as if he had no friend in the world and people had distanced themselves from him tata was really close to failure in 1998 the dada group had decided to enter the passenger car business the mission was led by mr tata himself and it was his dream to make a truly indian car he wanted to prove that india can produce good passenger cars as well mr attendara wanted a car that was specifically made for indian consumers hence tata indica was born as the day of the launch came nearer mr tara's friends distanced themselves from him and thought that his plan would never work experts believe the car would be a total disaster the earliest indica cars had serious quality issues the reason was simple the team of engineers behind indica were used to making trucks and buses they lacked the discipline mindset and experience needed to build a passenger ca the number of complaints from the public started to rise day by day word of mouth against indica kept on growing and as a result sales kept on falling mr tata's critics thought they were right after all they had predicted the car would be a total failure and their predictions were coming true within a year of its launch the tada group decided to sell the struggling business to fort mr tata and his team traveled to detroit but
